Set in the mountain town of Squamish, the race kicks off at McNaughton Park, just around the corner from Smoke Bluffs Café and its pre-race buzz. From there, the course flows through the forested trails of Smoke Bluffs Park, weaving beneath towering rock faces and moss-covered evergreens before crossing onto carefully managed lands of the Diamond Head Land Company, where the terrain opens to sweeping views of mountain and valley. All of it unfolds on the unceded ancestral territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, who have stewarded these lands since time immemorial.
